Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a sanitation specialist to join our manufacturing team. You will train staff, lead cross-functional projects, and ensure compliance with GMPs, Food Safety, and Quality Systems. You will partner with QA and Sanitation to verify records, conduct audits, and support continuous improvement of the Master Sanitation Program.

This role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, and starting pay $22.99 per hour.

Qualifications

• Trains staff in GMPs, Food Safety, Quality Systems, and Sanitation Programs.
• Works with QA and Sanitation supervisors.
• Audits GMP and sanitation programs and maintains records.

Responsibilities

• Train new and existing team members in GMPs, Food Safety, Quality Systems, and Sanitation Programs.
• Lead cross-functional teams or assigned projects with minimal supervision.
• Verify daily plant operational documentation and quality checks for completeness.
• Conduct GMP and sanitation audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve the Master Sanitation Program and related SOPs.
• Assist with sanitation investigations and CAPAs for hygiene issues.
• Operate and maintain CIP systems and perform CIP audits.
• Support hold management and assist in trials and audits.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts including weekends.
