Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Illinois seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control support professional to assist with all aspects of the quality systems, including inspections, testing, and release of raw materials and finished products.

The role involves logging and closing complaints, coordinating tests with labs, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with FDA/ISO standards. Competitive hourly salary and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification / Licensure: None
• Work Experience: At least 1 year of QA or QC experience.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Detail orientation, math basics, MS Office, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complaints are logged and closed appropriately.
• Coordinate stock checks and product rework in response to complaints.
• Coordinate test samples and results with internal/external labs.
• Log test results, manufacturing info, and retain samples in spreadsheets.
• Issue documentation needed for production such as production records.
• Review raw materials docs and inspect to ensure standards.
• Assist Quality staff with stock checks, deviations, and SOP/spec updates.
• Perform internal audits and line audits for FDA/ISO compliance.
• Review related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Place finished product on hold when necessary and release when applicable.
• Test and inspect vendor samples, finished goods, and raw materials.
