Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional in Arlington Heights, IL to support all aspects of the quality system. You will assist with in-process inspections, testing and release of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with procedures.

The role requires at least 1 year in QA/QC, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The department collaborates closely with internal and external laboratories and production teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Log complaints and ensure they are closed appropriately; coordinate stock checks and rework.
• Coordinate test samples and results with internal and external laboratories.
• Log test results, manufacturing information, and retain samples in spreadsheets.
• Issue required production documentation such as production records.
• Review receiving documentation for raw materials and inspect to ensure standards.
• Assist Quality staff with stock checks, deviations, training requirements, SOP updates, CIA/DHR reviews, and test method development.
• Perform internal audits and line audits to ensure FDA and ISO compliance.
• Review related documentation for completeness and assure product meets specifications; hold and release finished product as needed.
• Perform testing and inspection of vendor samples, finished goods, and raw materials.
