Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a QC Inspector I to inspect materials, components and finished products to verify quality. The role involves visual and measurement tests, recording results and reporting defects, collaborating with production and distribution teams to address issues.

You will help develop QC procedures, participate in continuous improvement and may operate material handling equipment. The salary range is hourly and benefits are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform conversions.
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP, ISO or 21CFR 820/210-211 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process items and finished products; document results.
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Identify defects and report non-conformities.
• Collaborate with teams to address quality issues and determine disposition.
• Assist in developing and implementing QC procedures and standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement to improve quality and efficiency.
• Assess damaged inbound goods and repackage as needed.
• Support inventory checks, recalls, deviations, relabeling and rework.
• Read blueprints and instructions; comply with SOPs and quality systems.
