Job summary

McCormick & Company seeks a Lab Technician II at the Technical Innovation Center in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This role tests seasonings and condiments, performs daily and monthly instrument checks, prepares standard solutions, and supports shelf-life testing while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Associate in Chemistry/Food Science with 1–2 years lab experience, GMP/GLP knowledge, strong math, and data entry skills using SAP and Power Apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and/or Food Science or an Associate’s with lab experience.
• GMPs/GLPs knowledge and ability to troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Strong math and data entry skills; proficient with SAP and DevEx.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing for seasonings and condiments (Density, Salt, pH, etc.).
• Enter test data accurately into Power Apps; use SAP for transactions.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab equipment; support proficiency testing.
• Follow SOPs and maintain data integrity; assist in cross-training.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and/or Food Science
