Job summary

Solenis in Florence, Kentucky is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Technician to provide technical support for product chemistry, ensure GMP compliance, perform batch testing, and help with data tabulation. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety and environmental programs within a GMP framework.

You will operate lab instrumentation, create COAs, support QA and regulatory programs, and train plant personnel while contributing to continuous improvement and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related science; minor in Chemistry preferred
• Minimum 1 year in a GMP-regulated Quality Control environment
• Experience with IR, UV/Vis, and moisture analysis instrumentation
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical testing of batches, line samples, and raw materials
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
• Tabulate and summarize data; provide adjustments as needed
• Prepare customer Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and review raw material COAs
• Support GMP and ISO 9001/14001 compliance and audits
• Coordinate with QA, R&D, and Regulatory for process improvements
