Job summary
Solenis is seeking a quality control chemist to provide technical support on product chemistry, perform chemical testing of batches, line samples, and raw materials, and help tabulate and summarize data. They will participate in our Quality, Health, and Environmental programs and support continuous improvement in a team environment.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Chemistry (or related science) and GMP experience with instruments like IR, UV/VIS, and a moisture analyzer; the role
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Chemistry or related science (minor in Chemistry) preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Quality Control environment within a GMP regulated facility.
- Experience with IR, UV/VIS, and Moisture Analyzer.
- Physical requirements: stand up to 4 hours, lift up to 45 pounds, follow PPE rules.
Responsibilities
- Performs chemical testing of batches, line samples, and raw materials.
- Provides adjustments to products and communicates with R&D for process improvements.
- Operates and maintains laboratory instrumentation and records results.
- Prepares COAs and reviews material Certificates of Analysis.
- Trains plant personnel in lab procedures and data handling.
- Supports GMP and ISO 9001/14001 audits and documentation.
