Job summary

Red Gold, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a quality control/line technician to support incoming raw material inspection, document lot traceability and ensure compliance with GMPs and kosher standards.

The role involves QA/Lab responsibilities, line paperwork, and collaboration with production, packaging and QA teams to maintain product quality. You will perform product testing, readiness checks and respond to out-of-spec conditions with corrective action.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Should have working knowledge of QA/Lab operations or be trainable.
• Should be observant, detail-oriented, and team player.
• Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must have good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Incoming raw material inspection - audit materials for compliance with specifications, purchase orders, vendor COAs, regulations, kosher certification, GMPs, and maintenance of raw material files.
• Issue paperwork for production lines; manage paperwork flow, and document lot traceability.
• Line technician duties including product testing, paste testing, seam teardowns, purchased product testing, reclamation work.
• Communication, decision making, and corrective action for out of specification situations.
• Work on projects as assigned by supervisor.
