Job summary

Conagra Brands in West Indianapolis is seeking a QA Lab Technician to conduct routine and specialized testing on ingredients, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance. You’ll maintain samples, record results, and partner with cross-functional teams while supporting nightly production operations.

Two lab shift models exist: Reddi-Wip lab features 12-hour shifts (5:45am–6:15pm) and rotates weekends; Tablespreads lab runs 8-hour shifts (6:45am–3:15pm),

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in quality, laboratory, or manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and math skills for interpreting measurements and graphs.
• Comfort following written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on ingredients, in-process materials, and finished products to confirm they meet specifications.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and prepare standard testing solutions.
• Record data, analyze results, compare outcomes against specifications, and elevate concerns when required.
• Support special projects and provide quality-related guidance to production teams.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Work nights, including second and/or third shift, on a rotating schedule.
