Job summary

Ravago Manufacturing Americas is seeking a Lab Quality Technician at the Manchester, TN site to monitor and maintain product quality in accordance with Quality, Laboratory, Environmental and Safety systems while supporting production. Responsibilities include running color tests, color correction with spectrophotometer, training staff, inspecting products, and preparing customer certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality testing and measurements in a lab environment.
• Ability to work with English and metric units.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interact with management and production to meet testing and quality needs.
• Run sample products on lab extruders and molders.
• Analyze colors with spectrophotometer and correct tones as needed.
• Identify non-conforming products and reject per procedure.
• Know product lines and customer specifications.
• Train and coach manufacturing personnel for in-process inspections.
• Prepare customer certifications and enter SPC data.
• Support manufacturing with re-work, formulation, and SPC adjustments.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
• Laboratory equipment PMs and verification.
• Follow Quality, Safety and Environmental procedures.
• Uphold Ravago Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.
