Job summary

Guardian Protection Products seeks a QC Technician to assist with quality procedures for production batches and new materials. You will compile, tabulate and summarize QC data for analysis, and communicate deviations from prescribed standards.

You will maintain statistical records in D365 and expedite changes to meet quality standards, with attention to batch adjustments and raw materials inspection as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; math and writing skills.
• Proficient math and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills; Excel knowledge required.
• Up to three years in industry related QC field helpful.
• Prior batchmaking experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Check production batches against standards.
• Advise batchmaker of adjustments to apply to product batch.
• Recheck batch after adjustments until within standard specifications.
• Use analytical tools to compare product to standard specifications.
• Record results of comparison in D365.
• Consult with QC manager on products more than 10% out of specs.
• Check bulk raw materials against standard product specifications on receipt.
• Calibrate QC/QA equipment as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
