Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Paducah, KY is seeking a Lab Technician to support the Quality and Laboratory team in manufacturing operations. You will collect samples, perform tests on adhesives (viscosity, pH, density, moisture, bond strength), and monitor quality by reporting results to production.

The role requires a HS diploma (an Associate's degree is preferred) with 0–3 years in a lab or related setting. Proficiency in Excel; experience with LIMS/SAP/AS/400 is a plus. Shift options: 7a–7p or 7p–7a.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 0–3 years in a laboratory, manufacturing, chemical, or quality control environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and data entry; familiarity with LIMS and SAP/AS/400 is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and across teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and maintain samples for QC testing.
• Perform physical and chemical tests: viscosity, solids, pH, density, moisture, bond strength.
• Monitor product quality and communicate results to production staff.
• Investigate out-of-spec results and assist with corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment with calibration and accurate records.
