Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies unit in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a chemical lab professional to support product development and testing. You will collect data, ensure quality, apply statistics, and help drive process improvements in a compliant lab environment.

The role requires an associate degree with 8–10 years in a chemical lab (or a bachelor’s with 4–6 years) and strong collaboration, communication, and IT skills, including JMP.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in chemistry, biology or a science field with 8–10 years of lab experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of chemical lab experience.
• Ability to collaborate with team on product development programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; JMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and communicates data and observations to chemist/scientist.
• Ensures high data quality, consistency, and reproducibility.
• Applies statistical techniques relevant to adhesive product testing.
• Proactively identifies and drives laboratory and process improvements.
• Acts as an independent problem solver and process owner with minimal supervision.
• Conducts all R&D lab work safely with PPE and 5S practices.
• Comfortable with curing and dispensing equipment.
