Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience preferred; entry level considered with relevant education or internships.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing and analytical techniques.
• Proficiency with operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and recordkeeping.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of safety practices and quality assurance procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and experiments according to procedures.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and lab equipment for testing.
• Measure and record pH, viscosity, density, and other properties.
• Conduct quality control testing to verify specifications.
• Create and distribute Certificate of Analysis with shipments.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instruments.
• Record and report results in notebooks and databases.
• Notify management of out-of-spec results promptly.
• Support chemists and site leadership on projects.
• Assist root-cause investigations using lab data.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and proper waste disposal.
• Follow OSHA, GLP, GMP, ISO and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
