Job summary

Krier Beverage in Random Lake, WI is seeking a Lab Technician to ensure product quality through laboratory testing, sensory analysis, and line verifications. You will read specifications, conduct line checks, and hold out any out-of-spec material while coordinating with production for adjustments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
• Previous laboratory or quality control experience in a Food & Beverage environment is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate in compliance with safety, GMP, and quality standards.
• Read and adhere to product specifications including pH, Brix, caffeine, and temperatures.
• Conduct line checks and sampling to verify product quality and hold out-of-spec products.
• Perform sensory testing and communicate adjustments to production staff.
• Calibrate and maintain lab instrumentation; ensure documentation is complete.
• Analyze batch attributes, complete paperwork, and approve batches for production.

Education
