Job summary

Mark Anthony Group in Columbia, SC is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to perform routine lab and packaging analysis on raw materials, in‑process and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met. This on‑site role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced beverage environment.

The technician will operate and maintain lab instrumentation (Alcolyzer, DMA, pH meters, GC, HPLC, spectrophotometer), follow SOPs, support the Brewing and Packaging teams, and

Qualifications

• High School or associate’s degree or 1+ year’s applicable experience required.
• Laboratory and/or beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends/holidays.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of good laboratory practices and record keeping.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with basic computer applications like Excel and Word.
• Statistical process control skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab and packaging analysis on raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Evaluate finished goods and ensure specifications are met.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and follow SOPs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Support inventory and non-conforming product management.
• Maintain safety and lab cleanliness.
