Responsibilities

  • Build, assemble, and test electronic components according to instructions using hand and power tools.
  • Test electronic components using standard test equipment and document results.
  • Read work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and drawings for building components.
  • Procure materials and parts and maintain inventory and related documentation.
  • Document testing techniques, equipment, and specifications to assist engineers.
  • Build prototypes from rough sketches or plans.
  • Perform other duties as required by the company.

  • $24- $26/hour to start

Duties:
  • Build, assemble, and test electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics using hand and power tools.
  • Test electronic components using standard test equipment and analyzing results to evaluate performance and document findings.
  • Read work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and engineering instructions for building electronic components.
  • Procure materials and parts and maintain inventory and related documentation.
  • Document and record data on testing techniques, laboratory equipment, and specifications to assist engineers.
  • Build prototypes from rough sketches or plans.
  • Perform other duties as required by company representatives.
What we look for:

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and diagrams.
  • Intermediate math skills for interpreting readings, specifications, and dimensions.

  • Strong operation monitoring and control skills for equipment and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for assembling small components.
  • Positive work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear frequently.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to perform precise hand movements and operate intricate tools
