Job summary

Quality Electrodynamics, LLC in New York seeks an Electronics Assembler to perform assembly and repairs on electronic and mechanical components by following documented instructions and using provided tools, equipment and programs to help the plant team meet its goals.

You will follow procedures, observe safety/ESD guidelines, keep your work area organized, and contribute to a culture of cooperation to improve product flow, quality and reduce scrap.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform intricate electrical and/or mechanical assembly.
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work at standard job efficiency after training period.
• Preferred: Basic soldering skills.
• Preferred: Basic surface mount soldering experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Must be an active agent to support efforts in increasing quality and efficiency.
• Review instructions and records for accuracy and correct GDP.
• Document Errors through NCRs and QFs.

JOB SUMMARY

• Perform QC inspections per documented procedures and applicable standards.
• Review instructions and records for accuracy and correct GDP.
• Document Errors though creation of NCRs and QFs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience

• High school diploma (or equivalent)

Skills and Abilities

Required

• Ability to perform intricate electrical and/or mechanical assembly
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication
• Work at or above standard job quality
• Must successfully complete hands-on solder training within probation period
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work at standard job efficiency after reasonable job training period

Preferred

• Basic soldering skills
• Basic surface mount soldering experience
• Familiarity with industry standards
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

Physical Requirements
