We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing & Test Technician for flexible, project-based work with an electro‑mechanical R&D and manufacturing company in Littleton, MA. This is a great opportunity for a technical professional seeking flexible or supplemental hands‑on work.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electro‑mechanical products using hand tools and established work instructions.
  • Conduct visual inspections and functional quality control testing.
  • Program and configure electronic components using computer-based systems.
  • Follow engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Use basic measurement and inspection tools as needed.
  • Identify basic assembly, component, or testing issues.
  • Clean finished products and prepare them for labeling and packaging.
  • Enter production, testing, and inventory information into computer systems.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Work independently to complete assigned production tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Manufacturing, electro‑mechanical, electronics assembly, or similar technical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read basic drawings, schematics, assembly instructions, and bills of materials.
  • Comfortable using computers for programming, testing, and data entry.
  • Experience with hand/power tools and inspection equipment such as calipers and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise assembly work.
  • Organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Schedule:

For the first month, expect at least 30 hours per week, preferably Monday–Friday, 9 AM–3 PM, with flexibility in daytime hours. After the first month, this will be a long‑term, as‑needed position, with hours ranging from limited or no hours during slower periods to 30 hours per week during peak production.

Pay

$27.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
