Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related technical field with 3+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in animal feed, feed ingredients, agriculture, or food industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with NIR instrumentation and basic knowledge of NIR applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analyses using NIR instrumentation.
• Organize, test, and communicate results for hundreds of feed ingredient samples weekly.
• Manage activities related to the Oilmeal Program and internal lab customers.
• Follow laboratory procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure testing is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Develop knowledge of NIR technology, instrumentation and calibration.
• Build basic NIR calibration models as expertise grows.
• Provide technical support to NIR users and internal partners.
