Job summary

Ornua Ingredients North America is seeking a Quality Lab Tech to ensure all finished products are tested and run within specification. You will train across lab duties, procure samples, calibrate equipment, and generate COA and raw material tests.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, adherence to GMP, and collaboration with production to maintain quality standards across dairy products.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, read and write in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school education or higher.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point applications to a food production facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate lab equipment.
• Check the Production line at the beginning of each new product to ensure proper raw materials and ingredients.
• Check the Packaging line at the beginning of each product run to ensure proper labeling and identification.
• Perform required on-line testing during Production to ensure specifications are met.
• Generate reports on all finished products following testing.
