Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related technical field plus 3+ years of relevant experience in animal feed, feed ingredients, agriculture, food, or a related industry; OR Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Experience with NIR instrumentation and laboratory testing workflows is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analyses using NIR (Near Infrared) instrumentation.
• Organize, test, and communicate results for hundreds of feed ingredient samples weekly.
• Manage activities associated with the Oilmeal Program.
• Support Feed Ingredient NIR Programs and internal laboratory customers.
• Follow laboratory procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure testing is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Develop knowledge of NIR technology, instrumentation, and calibration.
• Build basic NIR calibration models as your expertise grows.
• Provide technical support to NIR users and internal partners.
• Communicate results clearly and meet established deadlines.
