Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Senior Lab Technician for the 2nd shift at the Sioux City, IA facility. The role focuses on quality control testing, troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring accurate analytical results.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field and a minimum of four years in a commercial laboratory performing physical testing and HPLC/GC analyses, with ICP knowledge preferred. Reports to the Quality Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science with lab work; suitable lab experience may substitute.
• 4+ years in a commercial lab performing physical testing and HPLC/GC analyses.
• Knowledge of ICP operation and nutrient analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical testing and chemical analysis on samples and other assigned tasks to predetermined timelines.
• Complete testing accurately to minimize retests and follow lab procedures and company policies.
• Identify, categorize, isolate and remediate hazardous waste per regulatory requirements and company policies.
