Job summary

Pratt Miller is seeking a Quality Control Team Lead to oversee a Quality Lab in an ISO 9001 environment. The role involves developing inspection methods, programming CMMs, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing on quality plans and problem-solving.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in quality/metrology, strong GD&T skills, and experience with Zeiss Calypso, Faro, and PolyWorks. This in-person position supports programs from prototype to production and requires lawfully handling

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate degree or technical training in Quality, Metrology, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in manufacturing/quality/metrology/inspection environments preferred.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, GD&T, datum structures, tolerances and inspection requirements.
• Extensive experience operating and programming Zeiss CNC CMMs using Calypso; familiarity with Faro/CAM2/PolyWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and standardization of inspection methods and data reporting across the quality lab.
• Develop and maintain CMM programs using Calypso; support Zeiss, Faro, and PolyWorks workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan inspections for complex parts and assemblies.
• Review drawings and specifications to determine appropriate inspection methods.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions with measurement data.
• Mentor Quality Technicians on inspection equipment, GD&T, and standard workflows.
