Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Moline, IL is seeking a quality control coordinator to oversee QC processes, perform complaint analysis, and drive root-cause investigations using the ARC method.

You will support the Plant Quality Manager, review problem batches, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with safety procedures while handling confidential information and maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Associate degree or higher in chemistry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality control processes to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine complaint analysis including retain & field sample testing.
• Communicate with customers regarding quality issues.
• Manage non-conformance and initiate root cause analysis via ARC process.
• Support shift setup and scheduling.
• Review problem batches and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct internal quality and package appearance audits.
• Monitor inventory of parts and supplies; ensure safety procedures.
