Job summary

Bell Lumber & Pole Co. in De Queen, AR is seeking a Quality & Inventory Control Inspector. This full-time, first-shift role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting inbound and outbound inspections, and supporting wood flow through the De Queen peeling yard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience outdoors in variable weather in a fast-paced yard environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Experience in quality control, inspection, and record-keeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate yard operations; ensure records and report discrepancies.
• Audit inbound materials for quality and compliance; coordinate with teams.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity; document issues.
• Verify outbound shipments for identification and quantities.
• Serve as a communication link between yard supervision, admin, shipping, scheduling, loaders, QC, and vendors.
• Conduct routine yard audits and reconcile inventory with system.
• Accurately complete and maintain inspection records; communicate results to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform other yard duties as needed.
