Job summary

Bell Lumber & Pole Co. is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for the 3rd shift in Broken Bow, OK. You will inspect treated poles to ensure they meet ANSI, REA, AWPA, and customer specs, and collaborate with plant operations on safety and quality.

The role requires outdoor work, reading tape measures, and maintaining accurate records; climbing ladders and following PPE guidelines are essential. Training and a strong eye for detail are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in outdoor environments preferred.
• Knowledge of ANSI, REA, AWPA, ASTM standards desired.
• Ability to read a tape measure and document results.

Responsibilities

• Inspect treated wood utility poles for ANSI/REA/AWPA/ASTM compliance.
• Identify defects and apply grading rules.
• Perform penetration and retention testing on treating charges.
• Titrate treating solution as required.
• Maintain inspection records and communicate results to leadership.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and collaborate with others.
• Assist with other yard duties as needed.
