Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company invites students to join its Quality Internship hosted by the Quality Department at a Portland, Oregon site. The program runs May 24, 2027 through July 30, 2027.

You will gain hands-on exposure to quality systems, metrics, and testing, assist in process changes for formulas, and participate in training programs and site events to foster a positive workplace culture. Eligibility: currently enrolled in college, at least 18 years old, at least one year of Microsoft

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship.
• Must have at least one year of experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with quality systems, tools, processes, metrics, and standards.
• Identify process and formula changes needed for manufacturing of existing formulas.
• Complete the 3 Training Programs.
• Engage in Microbial Control Program and Institutional Test Methods training.
• Participate in Minitab & Basic Statistics training.
• Engage in early career development programming through the GSC Program Team.
• Support site events to promote a positive workplace culture.
