Job summary

Z Modular, a part of Zekelman Industries, invites applications for a Summer 2027 intern in Quality Systems & Assurance. This on-site internship develops hands-on experience with QMS documentation, audits, KPI reporting, CAPA tracking, and ISO 9001 readiness across manufacturing and logistics teams.

Based in Troy, MI; Killeen, TX; Chandler, AZ; or Austin, TX, the program runs May 24, 2027–August 13, 2027, with mentorship, networking events, and growth opportunities, culminating in a company-wide

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to QMS, ISO 9001, audits, documentation control, or continuous improvement.
• Interest in Quality Management Systems, QA, CI, or Quality Operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining controlled documentation and quality records in the QMS.
• Support internal audit prep and tracking of findings.
• Help manage CAPAs and KPI reporting.
• Assist with training records management and compliance documentation.
• Support ISO 9001 alignment and process standardization initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and other teams on quality initiatives.
