Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Quality Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting quality initiatives and plant operations in a manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with Quality and cross-functional teams to investigate issues, identify root causes, and contribute to corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university.
• Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Available to work approximately 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality team with daily quality activities, plant objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist cross-functional teams in investigating quality issues identified during production shifts.
• Follow up on quality concerns identified during previous shifts to ensure appropriate actions are completed.
• Help identify, document, and communicate actual and potential quality issues.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Track assigned tasks, projects, and action items to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate project and issue status to Quality and other cross-functional team members.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, reporting, and documentation related to quality performance.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Support additional plant-specific quality projects and assignments as needed.
