Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Quality Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting quality initiatives and plant operations in a manufacturing environment. You will work with Quality and cross-functional teams to investigate issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.

This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing problem-solving, data analysis, communication, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university.
• Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality team with daily quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist cross-functional teams in investigating quality issues identified during production shifts.
• Follow up on quality concerns from previous shifts to ensure appropriate actions are completed.
• Identify, document, and communicate actual and potential quality issues.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Track assigned tasks, projects, and action items to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate project status to Quality and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, reporting, and documentation related to quality performance.
• Participate in quality meetings and improvement activities.
• Support plant-specific quality projects as needed.
