Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Pennsauken, NJ. This 3 month contract-to-hire position requires a first shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a pay rate of $21–$22 per hour.

The role focuses on daily pre-operational reviews, GMP checks, tool and equipment cleaning, production line audits, and strict documentation. You will also manage allergen segregation, batch traceability, and finished goods inspection to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

• Daily pre-operational facility review of production lines, warehouse, glass, bathrooms and break room with documentation.
• Perform random GMP checks at start of shift, during lunch and breaks.
• Clean tools and equipment; ensure color-coded tools used correctly and stored properly.
• Audit production lines to ensure product weights and customer specs are met, correct coffee bins selected, and oxygen/Agtron tests documented.
• Report any non-compliances and corrective actions; ensure documentation is complete.
• Inspect finished goods for case count, weights, and proper packaging seals.
• Ensure allergens are properly segregated and labeled.
• Assist in inventory traceability from raw materials to finished goods.

Type: 3 month contract-to-hire

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $21-22 an hour

• Daily Pre-Operational facility review – Inspect production lines, warehouse, glass,
  bathrooms and break room. All inspections will be documented
• Employee Good Manufacturing Practices – Perform random Employee GMP checks at the
  beginning of the shift, during lunch and other breaks
• Cleaning tools and equipment – Review to ensure sure color-coded tools are used in
  appropriate areas, stored in the correct location, used for their intended purpose and kept
  clean
• Production line audits – Review all packing lines to ensure product weights are met,
  customer specifications are met, the correct coffee bins are selected, perform oxygen tests,
  Agtron tests, document all reviews on the standard forms and report any discrepancies to
  appropriate supervisors. These audits are particularly important at the beginning of the run
  and during product changeovers
• Issues and corrective actions- Report any non-compliances observed during the shift. All
  non-compliance and corrective actions must to be documented
• Finished Good Inspection – Inspect finished goods to ensure the necessary case count and
  product weights are met and ensure the proper seal of all packaging
• Allergen Management – Ensure that any product containing allergens is segregated and
  clearly marked
• Inventory tracking and traceability – Assist in inventory traceability from receipt of raw
  materials to finished goods
