Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician (Pharma Manufacturing)
Job Description: Candidates must be able to work night shift 6 PM - 6:30 AM. They also must be able to train on day shift and then transition to nights once fully trained.
The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures that all products manufactured at the Carlisle facility comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and meet all internal specifications. The position spends most of its time on the shop floor providing oversight and guidance to manufacturing personnel, performing manual and automated quality assurance checks on in-process products and finished goods, and reviewing documents to ensure they are completed according to GMP and site SOPs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and respond to customer demands in a timely fashion are critical requirements of this position.
Work schedule is 12‑hour shifts (days or nights) with a 3‑day on/3‑day off rotation. Overtime may be occasionally required.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. They are occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts or airborne particles. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The Quality Assurance Inspector adheres to the site safe work practices and must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
