Job summary

Haydon-Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician for a weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 3x12). You will perform incoming and in-process inspections, verify product quality, and initiate non-conforming material reports.

You will train production teams on quality controls, conduct shop-floor audits, and maintain accurate data in quality systems, ensuring safety and compliance on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; inventory management training is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience with SAP transactions.
• Proficiency with gauges, micrometers, calipers; strong measurement skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Incoming and In-process dimensional and visual inspections.
• Inspect samples to evaluate quality before release to finished goods.
• Initiate Non-Conforming Material reports and quarantine non-conforming items.
• Input data into quality reporting systems accurately and timely.
• Train production team on quality control measures as needed.
• Perform shop-floor quality audits and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment; comply with policies.
• Perform SAP transactions and related duties as assigned.
