Job summary

JD Machine Corp. is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector to ensure every part meets exact customer and aerospace-level standards. The role focuses on inspecting machined parts, verifying specifications with micrometers, calipers, and a CMM, and documenting certs per AS9100.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of inspection experience, are detail-oriented, and ready to work overtime when needed in a team-focused, modern facility.

Responsibilities

• Support audits and continuous improvement efforts

What You'll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a critical role in making sure every part meets exact customer and aerospace-level standards.

• Inspect machined and processed parts (anodize, paint, chem film, etc.)
• Verify parts meet blueprint specs using:
  • Micrometers & calipers
  • CMM
  • Optical comparator & surface plate
• Review and approve certs and documentation
• Complete inspection records per AS9100 standards
• Support audits and continuous improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of quality inspection experience (or strong mechanical aptitude)
• Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Team player with good communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
