Corporate Resources of Illinois, Ltd. is seeking a Quality Technician in Schaumburg, IL to perform component and assembly inspections and support mechanical troubleshooting.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, the use of precision measuring tools, and the ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, is proficient with Microsoft Office, and can organize work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accurate quality

Competenze

• 1 year hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, inspection, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Familiarity with mechanical tools, precision measuring equipment, and engineering drawings.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong math skills to compare results with tolerances.
• Ability to evaluate conformance, identify quality issues, and set inspection priorities.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Perform inspections of mechanical assemblies, small components, and finished products.
• Operate calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and torque wrenches.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements.
• Identify product defects, deviations, and mechanical issues; document findings.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records using computer systems.
• Apply basic troubleshooting to assess equipment conditions and repair needs.
• Estimate repair labor, turnaround time, and parts requirements.
• Use Microsoft Office and electronic databases to support daily tasks.
• Communicate quality concerns and inspection results clearly.
• Organize workloads and meet production and customer deadlines.
