The ideal candidate will calibrate inspection equipment, complete PPAPs, and work with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience in quality control/quality assurance in manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiar with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; basic computer skills with QM software.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Tech to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs accurately and timely.
• Identify and report product defects or deviations from specifications to the General Manager.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Complete PPAP's and any other quality requests by customer.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with quality management software or databases.

This position is based in our manufacturing facility located in Elk Grove Village, IL. The role may require standing for extended periods and handling of materials. Adherence to safety protocols is essential.
