Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector with steel fabrication and welding inspection experience to ensure our products meet customer and industry standards.

You will perform weld inspections, UT/MT testing, dimensional audits, and maintain quality records, partnering with production to uphold requirements. Growth opportunities and overtime are available in a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the steel fabrication or structural steel industry.
• Hands-on experience inspecting welds.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards.
• CWI Certification is highly preferred.
• UT and MT Level I or II certifications strongly preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and use inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with DOT standards is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished steel products.
• Conduct visual weld inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards.
• Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
• Complete dimensional audits and verify product specifications.
• Maintain inspection documentation and quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming products.
• Partner with production teams to uphold quality standards and resolve issues.
• Train and educate employees on quality requirements and best practices.
