Volt in Seattle, WA is seeking a Quality Technician / Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on mechanical, electrical, PCB, and electromechanical components. The role requires reading engineering drawings, precise measurement with calipers, micrometers, and microscopes, and ensuring traceability and accurate records.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of manufacturing inspection experience, knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA is preferred, and IPC-A-610 PCB inspection

Job Summary

Quality Technician / Inspector

Location: Seattle, WA (98109).

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on mechanical, electrical, PCB, and electromechanical components.
• Inspect products against engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards.
• Verify product configurations, labeling, serial numbers, traceability, and manufacturing records.
• Use inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, microscopes, gauges, and inspection fixtures.
• Support calibration activities, audits, quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA.
• IPC-A-610 certification or PCB inspection experience.

Pay and Working Conditions

• Pay: $27-$31/hr
• *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
• Contract: Full Time, temp to hire opportunity.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Seattle, WA (98109).
