Job summary

Gorbel Inc is hiring a Quality Technician in Henrietta, NY. You will inspect incoming materials, WIP, and final assemblies to documented procedures, and log inspection results in our records.

You will read engineering drawings, coordinate with departments to resolve issues, and contribute to nonconformance handling and process improvements. AAS in related field is preferred; strong Excel skills and manufacturing experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least four years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of inspection tools and measuring devices; GD&T knowledge.
• Welding knowledge a plus; ability to inspect/test welds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming material, WIP, and final assemblies to defined procedures.
• Document inspection results and update records accordingly.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for conformance.
• Identify nonconforming material; drive corrective actions with teams.
