Job summary

Saint-Gobain seeks a Quality Tech I to support manufacturing and customer-related processes by performing inspections on materials and products, ensuring documentation accuracy and conformance to customer specs. Strong attention to detail is essential as you review drawings, orders, and quality records.

Role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in a quality/production environment, and familiarity with gauges.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a Quality or Production role performing inspections.
• Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications.
• Basic computer proficiency in MS Word/Excel and good math skills.
• Prior knowledge of QAD MFG/Pro is preferred.
• Familiarity with inspection techniques and sampling plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process parts and finished goods per requirements.
• Review and verify documentation, including receiving, manufacturing and shipping docs and customer drawings.
• Identify nonconformities and communicate root causes and corrective actions as needed.
