Job summary

OPW, a Dover Corporation company in Ball Ground, GA, is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform routine inspections, tests, and measurements across production stages at our Ball Ground facility. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2–4 years QA/QC experience in manufacturing, and VT visual inspection certification. Welding knowledge is a plus.

You will review drawings, calibrate equipment, and document results, contributing to a robust QA culture and safe, compliant production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in MS Office programs
• 2–4 years QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment
• Welding knowledge preferred
• VT Certification (visual inspection) required
• BT Certification (bubble leak) preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect output samples and incoming items against standards and measurements.
• Ensure manufacturing adheres to QA/QC requirements and procedures.
• Review blueprints and BOM specifications against manufactured products.
• Record inspection results and summarize re-works and wastes.
• Calibrate measurement equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Read engineering drawings and radiographs; use gauges to verify dimensions.
• Perform mass spectrometer testing on manufactured equipment.
• Audit QA procedures and report non-conforming material.
