Job summary

OPW, a global leader in fluid-handling solutions, seeks a Quality Inspector (Support 2) to perform in-process and final product quality analyses in accordance with standards. You will interpret test results, identify persistent issues, and suggest process improvements, often using blueprints and precision tools.

Role requires the ability to work under moderate supervision and communicate technical information clearly.

Qualifications

• Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and suggests improvements.
• May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings or inspection instructions.

Responsibilities

• Works under moderate supervision; problems are routine but may require interpretation.
• Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
• Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics.
