Job summary

OPW Global is seeking a Quality Inspector to support QA Lab responsibilities in production. The role has visibility with manufacturing teams and Value Stream leaders and engineering functions.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, verifying production PPAP parts, and applying statistical methods to assess process capability. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong measurement tool skills and CMM/CNC familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years performing similar tasks/role.
• Ability to read drawings and verify requirements per production/PPAP parts.
• Experience with CMM and/or CNC programming preferred; learning CMM programming a must.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform duties in a manufacturing setting.
• Interpret drawings and verify requirements for production/PPAP parts and communicate results to Midland Mfg. production teams.
• Apply statistical methods to determine manufacturing process capabilities.
• Recommend instrumentation, calibration and gauging needs.
• Collaborate with Midland personnel on purchases, procedures, and project status.
• Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 quality standards and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and problem-solving sessions as required.
• Perform housekeeping duties including 5S and TPM.
