Job summary

Deringer-Ney Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to conduct routine inspections of materials and machined components, ensuring conformance to specifications.

You will work with Quality Engineers and managers, perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections, and use blueprints, Quality Plans, and standard gaging to support product quality in automotive and related industries. This role emphasizes attention to detail and adherence to quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; GED or high school diploma acceptable with relevant experience.
• 2-3 years of inspection experience in metal stamping, injection molding, or related industry.
• Certified Mechanical Inspector desired.
• Active ongoing training through courses and seminars is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Engineers and managers in inspections to determine conformance to specifications.
• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections using blueprints and Quality Plans.
• Utilize micrometers, calipers, comparators and other gages; document findings accurately.
• Prepare non-conformance reports and segregate nonconforming products per procedures.
• Assist in continuous improvement and participate in customer visits/audits when required.
