Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; minimum GED or high school diploma.
• 2-3 years inspection experience or equivalent in metal stamping, injection molding, or related industry.
• Certified Mechanical Inspector (desired).
• Active continuing training through courses and seminars (desired).

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections to determine conformance to specifications and customer requirements.
• Use blueprints, Quality Plans, sampling and inspection procedures for automotive and non-automotive products.
• Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformances in a timely manner.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within the inspection area.
