Job summary

Novolex in Cedar Rapids is seeking an Inspector to join our team on a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, in a climate-controlled environment. The role requires inspecting machined parts and assemblies against blueprints, and communicating nonconformances to stakeholders.

Immediate hire with wage progression through 12 months and a competitive benefits package. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of inspection or machinist experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as an inspector or 1-3 years of experience as a machinist.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined and fabricated parts per blueprints.
• Inspect electrical, pneumatic, and power transmission parts per blueprints and vendor specifications.
• Communicate nonconformances to key stakeholders.
