Gavial Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure raw materials and finished products meet established quality standards. The role involves inspecting, testing, sorting, sampling, and weighing components to identify defects and verify compliance with specifications.

The candidate will read blueprints, analyze data, and set up inspections for receiving, in-process and final assemblies. Proficiency with measuring tools and familiarity with AS9100 is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of inspection-related experience in a manufacturing environment; 3 years preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and IPC-A-610 certification a plus.

Responsabilités

• Examine parts for surface defects such as chips, scratches and pinholes.
• Compare surface finish to standard blocks using fingertip touch for specified finish.
• Read blueprints or specs to determine material, finish, and dimensions.
• Perform first article inspections to AS9102 specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions.
• Generate NCRs and inspect data; ensure traceability and proper identification.
