Job summary

Gavial Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure raw materials and finished parts meet strict quality standards. You will inspect, test, and weigh components using precision tools, read blueprints, and document results to maintain product integrity.

Responsibilities include first article inspections per AS9102, analyzing data, and generating NCRs as needed. Strong attention to detail and proficiency with ERP systems are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of inspection-related experience in manufacturing.
• Use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
• IPC-A-610 Inspector Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for surface defects and verify dimensions.
• Read blueprints or specs to obtain material, finish and size data.
• Perform first article inspections per AS9102 and document results.
• Maintain inspection records and generate NCRs when needed.
• Operate measuring instruments to ensure conformance to standards.
• Prepare QA records packages for customers prior to shipment.
• Ensure traceability and proper identification of inspected parts.
• Support final and in-process inspections as required.
