Job summary

Merit Brass Company in Richmond Heights, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will perform in-process inspections of cut-Blanks, nipples and pipe, ensuring conformity to specifications throughout production.

Strong attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and experience with rulers, calipers, micrometers and PMI equipment are essential. Excellent documentation and teamwork are expected, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; strong written and verbal communication.
• Manufacturing or inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic inspection tools and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of components to specifications.
• Inspect pipe material for production, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Conduct first piece and final inspections; document results.
• Use rulers, calipers, micrometers, gauges and PMI equipment for measurements.
• Maintain traceability documentation and report quality trends.
